Thanks Chris
The build was inspired by this photo: I don't know about painting it though - all my weapons are painted, kind of nice to have one black. ...might change my mind down the road - we will see

@Talibanmilan - Just wondering.. is the ring wrapping the handguard holding the rail underneath it? I'm surpirsed if it doesn't wobble at all.

Eien, the steel ladder tie is holding the lower M4 RIS in place currently, but I am going to reinforce it with a screw or two.
It is currently holding very well - you would be surprised how strong the steel cable ties really are! And its not even fully torqued down, could go even tighter I'm really liking the set-up, I should have done it earlier...

Updated my original post with more pics and a detail of how the M4 RIS is attached.
I added a screw for extra strength.

Hey Milan, I am interested you can run the vert grip so close to where the mag will be. Doesn't it get in the way for reloads?

It is close, but doesn't get in the way.
I am running duel-mag clamp MP5 magazines which help in fast reloads. I will take a picture of the mags inserted in the weapon to show you the spacing, etc. All the best!
