The mp5a4 is pretty cheap compared to most aegs.. $405 + 10 star mags $80 + battery and charger $100. Still under $ 600. The p226 is a also a damn fine pistol. The most reliable pistols I have seen would be the kwa g19 at TTAC3. Those glocks have seen more action/shitty .12 bbs/drops. and still function well, just not so accurate.

You can get a shotgun. One of those 3 barrel M9 Super Shotty's. Played with one on our ferry (well, it was a pistol/shotty game). Kicks ass with 3 bb's flying out at the same time. Got more kills than with my AUG playing outdoors .
Also played there with a M11 (stupid aftermarket mags kept jamming it) and KSC G19 (heavy weight, metal slide). Got some nice kills against AEG guys.

well rawdeal said the hi-capa is the king of pistols i tend to agree with him because the gun has some of the best out of the box proformance next to the P226. another reason why the hi-capa is a good choice is its easy to maintain and keep in working order the 226 as lots of little parts that could easily be lost if your were not carful. the next thing the hi-capa as is that theres ass loads of parts and accsessories for the gun compared to the 226.

If you want a primary, get something that's not a hunk of plastic or that can be converted cheaply. Since you'll be spending much more time with it, you want it to be sexy.

Get anything that tickles your fancy. If the gun works, you can still make it work to a degree in any situation. In this case, get the sexiest with the shortest barrel.

your best bet is a used g36, famas, academy l85 if you can find one, or an m4.
the 36 has a flip stock which is sweet and is very nimble (i have one for sale)
the famas is bull pup and compact for a rifle, nicley (not accuratley) wieghted
the l85, though not popular is very compact and nimble, but not as nice a gun as the other choices, but is very affordable for that reason (aZn_triXta07 has one for sale)
the m4 is nice too with the adjustable stock, customizable ect, very available.

i would say either a g36 or m4 for their value, you can upgrade them internally asthetically and practically (plus you can use real steel stuff if your into that)

as for the mp7.... mmm its nice as a secondary, the fact is a rifle is more versatile, you can more effectivley/ efficiantly upgrade a rifle, you could go to outdoor games with a stock rifle, you couldnt even dream about that with a machine pistol. as for gbb for a primary, they dont have the ability to put them down range like a rifle, and they are a hassle with the gas and mags. fully auto pistols are kinda redundant, if youve resorted to your secondary, you want every shot to count untill you can ready your primary and with limited mag capacity you dont want to spray and pray.

the most important thing to realize is that you may think you know what you like, but all you really know is that you like the looks, you dont know what you like in practicallity. just cuz you do or dont like the looks of a gun, doesnt mean you wont like it out in the field- dont limit yourself on asthetics, you want practicallity and functionality.

You know, there ain't much difference between well....any common heights of people. It has nothing to do with your hand size or arm length and even then the differences are quite minimal. Anyone can use any gun. As long as you're a human being, all guns are already made for you anyway!

P90 would be the ultimate CQB weapon for me anyway. Pretty much no barrel to smack on anything.

It's been said before too....choosing a gun is all about your likes and dislikes.

I'm 6' 1" and I personally use a Beta Spetsnaz here at the CQB facility in Calgary. It works well enough for me. Using full size AK mags in it means it can be kind of hard to get real down low.

However, a friend has a P90 and the thing is a monster for CQB. Comfortable, very small, easily swapped between left and right hands, and accurate as all hell. I'd suggest getting your hands on on, at least to see how it feels because it is really worth a look for CQB style fighting.

I already took a P90 in my hands and yeah it's uber comfortable. I really like the looks and maneuvrability. The only problem I could see with it is the mags shape and also the fact that Hi-caps tend to have problems and no STAR mags available...
Other than that , yeah it's a hell of a good gun. I'll take another few weeks to think about it. Thanks for the inputs guys

i've been to TTAC3 a few times, and a pistol will do you just fine, imo. The only disadvantage to a pistol in that environment is that an AEG carries more ammo per mag.

Yeah , it's awesome looking. I really love the Spetz with long mags. The only disavantage that comes to my mind is the price. I want a good battery charger because I was literally told that if I get a cheap wall charger , it WILL break my battery real quickly and I'll have to get another one...

TM B-Spetz = 425
8.4v 1300 mAh Battery = 40
Bol Flame charger = 90
30 rds STAR mags = 90

total of : 645 $ ( which isn't bad )

that's a good idea. I'll be able to customize it afterwards and also play outdoor games with it.

EDIT : Just read a review about the TM Tactical Launcher , seems like a nice CQB weapon for me. Plus : no battery or charger or gas , low cost and no nozzle breaking issues. However , I don'T see any canadian retailer having it In Stock , is it out of production ?
