I was more referring to the shooting aspects of the gun, I was looking more for a comparison of performance than looks.

Yeah it is.

Well in terms of performance, both are made by Tanaka so your guaranteed to get one of the highest quality gas rifles on the market. The only difference, I imagine, would be the length, therefore, it would would have a shortend barrel. With all airsoft guns, the inner barrel length does affect the performance.

I seen you guys discussing that K98 and I instantly had to joinup for the forums

I have been looking for that gun and all I can get ahold of is the Marushin model(kinda iffy 'bout that one) and I really like the sound of the Tanaka version more.(Marushin model has individual shells as I understand it)

I was wondering where do you get that thing???

It's hard to get a hold of because Tanaka only produce them in batches at certain times of the year. Typically a big batch comes out around October/November. There was one that was being sold in the Buy & Sell section not too long ago. As well, try to get HonestJohn from ASC Armoury for a special order. With any luck, I should be receiving my in a week or two.

I had to custom order mine in from Airsoft Kelowna, only took a lil' bit. Now all I have to do is get back to Kelowna an' I can actually use it. Too powerful for the FPS limits at some Calgary clubs.
