It's weird that the stock would split like that in the first place. It looks like something shifted and it's permanently bulging out, otherwise it shouldnt even split like that.
Shame bondic didn't work though. Let us know if you have used it in other applications! This stuff reminds me of the cement they use in orthodontics. I still have bits of it stuck to my teeth that even the dentist can't get out. They use a UV light to harden it as well. |

I replaced the stock on my ICS SIG 551 but the first game I went out to it split again identically to the original stock that was on it so I strapped it up with black duct tape which works but isn't right aesthetically .
I had the opportunity to look at a G&G brand SIG 552 and it looked to be a much stronger build of folding stock which got me to wondering if it would fit on my ICS (with modding if needed)? That being said does anyone out there have a set of ICS and G&G SIG 55x series guns that can see if it's even possible? |

This one is from a JG. Does it look like it would fit?

I don't think so, it looks like it's missing the hinge. I only mentioned G&G as a possibility as I picked one up and had a decent look at it.
I snagged this picture from evike as it was the only place that had the replacement stock. The part I'm concerned with is the pinned hinge and how it'll seat against the receiver |
