Is that one-piece Main spring housing with magwell?
I had no idea what's the real-steel equivalent of this piece, aside from Nighthawk-type grips... |

The pictures on the TM site seem to indicate it's screwed into the Mainspring housing, like the cheapo TSC magwell. Still, I can't think of any other 1911s that come stock with one, so big ups to TM for that.

The square trigger guard is honestly my biggest gripe about it. The "meat mallet" front end looks pretty awesome, though.

well the squarness looks like it comes off the meat mallet front end, a quick dremel and sand, and the trigger guard looks like it'll be round again
