There is already at least 3 GBB M249.

TOP M249 (external air)

As for the last one i'm not sure it's made by TOP but here is a video link.

Just test fired the newly arrive AKS74U with the rest of the SRC Shipment. I gotta say this is a nice piece. It is so simple on the inside which is what makes it works so flawlessly. Been testing it for almost a 1000 shots now. No issues what so ever. This GBBR has my thumbs up!

Have you done any quantitative tests on it?

ie. FPS consistency (how much cool down to expect?), out of the box FPS.

I've seen youtube videos on it and all but I'd like to hear from you what you think about it. What about the blow back? It appears to be really weak based on the the youtube videos I've seen for it (not only that the bolt doesn't seem to move that far back).

EDIT: Also..... now compared to something like the RS Type56, which would be a better sniper (or countersniper/DMR) platform to build upon? I'm looking for consistency but willing to take the hit in "cooldown effect" if it's not that big (because GBBR's are just so kickass) and you can get decent FPS consistency shooting a whole 30 round mag over say 5 minutes or so.

Yep I want some honest canadian reviews about it...lol

And I totally agree, AKs recoil is supposed to be violent...lol

@L473ncy.... you want to build a DMR gun out of an ak74?

Well..... kind of but not really, I actually want to make a VSS (I've loved it since Army Ops (AKA "Americas Army") AFAIK there's only like 2 in Canada right now and I'm pretty sure one is owned by someone in Calgary).

I've already got most of the details planned out and refined, now all I need to do is start buying (and fabricating some of my own) parts and once that's done I'll post pics.

In fact I'm actually working on a shop drawing for some of the parts that I'm going to fab right now. Once that's done I'll start working on it during the summer and post pics of the externals that I'm going to make.

PS: If anyone else here is on Arnies, Renegadecow (a Filipino airsofter) is making a "Renegadecow Custom" VSS from scratch right now and it's looking quite sexy.

I wish they would start manufacturing gas Ak47s instead of 74s.
