And yet, all those clones still need a lot more work and parts swapped out. Sure, TM's plastic and it doesn't have the trades, but who cares? I'll stick to my plastic fantastic over all these new "FULL METAL 1337" things anyday.

Can't fix my own guns. Willing to fix yours.

but Id rather spend $250 on some average meister or army metal MEU than a $600+ TM MEU with FMU kit, and I actually prefer the cheaper cast metal because its heavier than CNC lightweight aluminum, so it feels more realistic

Yeah, sure, plastic has its advantages. It's lighter, for one. And few would ever mistake it for a real gun if they got a good look at it.
I'd take a stock gun with a reinforced mechbox, one piece barrel, metal reciever, reinforced metal tabs, quality furniture, bearings, metal shims, a quality piston with a vented piston head, metal cylinder heads, and a good air seal over TM any day. I also hate body screws, fake wood, pot metal, and Made in Japan on my gun, but that's just me. Last edited by Kid; October 14th, 2010 at 18:42.. |

Not really.. a RS Type 56 isn't much more expensive than a Marui AK in the US, and you can get Classic Army / ICS / other guns that match my description for about the same price as a similar Marui gun.

I never even consider TM when it comes to AEG's, but GBB pistols...that's a different story.

Oh my, they are going to make an M&P!
I looking to get my PAL and RPAL very soon and I will be getting an M&P 9mm first and I would like to have matching airsoft gear. Then again I also want an SR-15 and I have an airsoft M4, so maybe I will keep airsoft and real steel different. I may want the TM M&P, but then again I will have to wait for a better slide from Shooters Design and other after market parts, so maybe I will just stick with the Glock 18C... Choices, choices... |

Marui....
The days of AEG are over for them The days of EBB Recoil system will never come outside of Japan(too hard to disassemble, and too unique) The days of GBB pistol is all you have outside of Japan The days of GBBR is coming, but then again it was the very thing you tried to remove with AEG. Honestly, stop thinking Japan is the center of the world, most of the airsoft these days are outside of Japan. Take your local skirmish has ~50 people which is not bad...but Russia its more like 200 people. |

they should have seen the writing on the wall for their old business model after CA managed to get it's brand out there, instead all they did was continue on the slow-methodical path towards obscurity meh, companies that believe they can do no wrong all end up the same.. bankrupt.
