Keep it up, doing a real ghillie is hard and long. It took about 40 hours for mine, but when you see the result and the surprise on the face of the guy you just froze at 1.5 feet away from your position, there a satisfaction feeling that cant be describe

it's not too bad for a start. but you'll need to add some burlap or jute to get the look of grass or underbrush. a friend of mine made a ghillie simillar to yours and added less than a role of the jute twine to it, and he was near imposible to find in it.
keep at it. looks great so far

I own that DVD. It's very good at giving an overview of what exactly a ghillie suit is, what it's trying to accomplish, and a few walkthroughs on how to make an effective ghillie. I really found it informative and good for the visuals. I research the shit outta things before attempting something, so there's always google and free stuff to learn from. But if you want something that gives you everything you need to know and worry about with ghillies go buy that vid.
