I also cannot tell a lie...we would have to barricade our hotel room door and keep one man on security in the room as Trevor would constantly barge in and try and start "tickle fights". There was no letting your guard down on and off the field!

Well well, that would be fun... Do you mind giving an approximate cost per player for that trip?

I think all in it cost around $1,300 For myself and probably similar for everyone (food, hotel, flights, gear shipping, truck rentals, field fee). Some also purchased a pistol to use down there which mine doesn't include. The field fee alone was $225 bucks. Hotels and food were really cheap down there. Flights and shipping were big ticket items also.

Conker, for the eastern players, there is Operation Pine Plains in Fort Drum, NY (2.5 hour drive from Ottawa) cost is around $200 per player.

Yeah 6.5 hours for me. Did 7 hours for a day hike... With some planning, could definitely do that for a great game! It's something to consider, could really be cool to setup an eastern-canada joint force for such an op.

I'd say it's about the same as here. It is easier to get into though since the costs are lower, so let that say what you want. Irene was different than Fort Ord for player level I found.

The difference is that Canada doesn't really have those 13 year old kids and their "airsoft wars" and "snipers"... that really brings our average down...
