Yes i am aware, that was my point. Ujiro seemed to imply that the poor stocks of Canada based airsoft distributors is based on the lack of importations, and my point being - where do you think the Canada based companies get them?

If you are looking for other forms of airsoft guns (the non clear kind), then all I can tell you at this time is retailers do exist in this country, and the items are all brought in legally (I will not explain this process). If you wish to find out more in regards to how to aquire one of these airsoft guns then you will require to proceed with this websites process known as age verifacation. Once this is complete you will be granted acess to this websites buy and sell section and you will also learn of the Canadian retailers who legally bring in airsoft. For more information in regards to getting age verified, please see here: http://www.airsoftcanada.com/showthread.php?t=49408 For a list of verifiers in your area, please see here: http://www.airsoftcanada.com/showthread.php?t=23609

Clearsoft=legal. Since it is not a replica firearm, due to the fact that it is clear. Come on now. I was talking about real airsoft (so real replica firearms).

I'm just putting my 2 cents but still, isn't it true that if your gun shoot more than 407 fps, if the CBSA take it, after the test they're suppose to give it back to you ?
Since 407 fps is the magic number between replica and firearm, IIRC. Is that right ?

I've never read a report of anyone getting a gun back after the CBSA have confiscated it. But that's just my 2 cents.

It has to be some specific muzzle velocity, as well as a specific muzzle energy. Not sure the exact numbers. But yeah I've never heard of that ever actually going anywhere. When its seized, its gone.

Thank you for unintentionally justifying my post. There is alot of unclear information about importation of airsoft/replicas, all I wished was to confirm through people who have perhaps ordered from the U.S and would know first hand or through people who have dealt with canadian customs personally if you can or cannot import airsoft/replica firearms.

I've alwasy been told it was 500 fps and over that is a legal concern as a real firearm. As far as an airsoft model being regarded as a Replica, I cannot find a basis as replicas are film probs that fire blank rounds and hold semi-scale ammunition. Airsoft will not fire a blank round nor will it hold ammunition and therefore not replicate the action of a real firearm.
