Yep, I just got home. Gotta work tonight or I would have stayed today as well. There were quite a few of us there. I was part of the reenactment. I had a blast. The Huey flying in with the Vietnam guys was awesome. It was a little hot, but we kept well hydrated. I'm sure there will be an AAR going up soon, so you will see lots of pics in there.

There was 3 STG's, and 1 PPSH, which was mine

Glad to hear you enjoyed our camp! We're all from this group and have attended the Muster the past 3 years.
This was our biggest turn out of Germans yet, hence why we were given our own little camp this time.

Yes I thought all the re-enactments were great & I did notice alot of detail on everyone's kit ,...I rarely see the STG's or PPSh they seem to be of decent quality , I mostly just purchase beat up AK's & restore them ,...then do a weathering job to the finish & wood ,thats what I enjoy doing as a hobby

Thank you all for putting on the show in the heat , we really enjoyed
seeing history in living color ! I hope everyone will be back again next year & it will be bigger !

Thanks... always good to hear the feedback and very glad that you enjoyed it. If they have it again we will be there!

We had 20 members there, 10 tents, 2 jeeps, 1 Ambulance, 3 encampments... and a shit load of weapons... but there is always room to grow. And that was just our group!

More pictures still need to go up in the AAR section on our forum. just click on my signature to get there. Or check the link in one of the above posts.

Have been thinking of joining a German unit, am in Barrie and was wondering if any of the current units were reasonable close by?

The black Wolves are up that way. They are a SS Fallschirmjager unit. The 9thss Hohenstaufen members are located all over. Best thing to do is come out to a game and take it from there.

Next training event https://www.ops-center.net/events/ww...ining-event/95

We have members from Muskoka to Windsor. Fuji mentioned two of our German units. The 9th are the most active right now. So if you want to attend training, games and living history events these are the guys to hook up with. You you will be expected to do some travel... but you would have to do that for attending events anyways.
