you did not just tell me to google :P I take pride in the fact that I research before ever asking a question on ASC.

I spent a few days researching it last month and did not really find any dedicated MG variants on the G3.

oooo I like TCs...

the second one is just a SG-1 with a Cmag slapped on it.

Again, meaning I gave one up to get myself a full metal HK416. Next AEG will be a full metal (ahem... CA Safesoft) G3 - but with a sliding stock so that I don't have to deal with an unnecessarily massive primary. But, that'll happen only after I decide that I'm actually a decent enough player... lol.

My HK53. It's a CA33KA3 with an MC51 cocking tube and real HK53 forearm.

Cool Youth Engineering, SniperX, and DaytonaGun Custom MP5A3

I just got this back from Hong Kong, when I purchased this from another ASC user this gun had already been non-functioning for a number of years.

It was imported into Canada wayyyy wayyy back.

Base is a Youth Engineering MP5 Serial #00803 so it was produced early, the last one I owned two years ago had a serial number in the 2000s

It has a SniperX SEF Lower Grip which is pretty much the Navy Style.
The handguard is a real steel MP5A2 Slim Handguard it fit with minor modification (not done by me)

Anywho, I had custom steel parts made by DaytonaGun, cost me under $200 I believe but when I got them they didn't fit properly, even with the new brass parts purchased from Escort.

After another $300 sending it to DaytonaGun for him to work on and have more parts made it's finally back in my hands now shooting like a dream

DaytonaGun took it upon himself to update the chamber for me to the same system he uses with all the rest of his guns, traditionally YE/Escort users were stuck with the stock brass barrel. With the new design I can now swap out AEG inner barrels however I please. The other modification unlike Escort was a small steel plate installed inside the magwell so AEG magazines could fit properly, Escort would make a dent/dimple on the outside of the magwell.

The only thing I need now is a real H&K sliding stock, the stock one is worn and so wobbly.

But for now here are pictures:

Steel Bolt (Back) and Steel Chamber

Steel Chamber

Steel Air Switch

Steel Air Shaft

I weathered the body of my G3, and then I got really bored and decided it needed a paintjob. These are the results, took me about four hours in total. I'm really happy with the way it turned out.

Dante, what outer barrel/silencer adaptor thing did you use? And what length did your inner barrel end up being? Does the shortening of the front barrel stuff effectively make the G3 FEEL a little bit shorter?

Edit: oh yeah, and it totally looks awesome now, by the way.
