Lol with all this new stuff... New platform comes out... I'll wait at-least a year until buying it unless it's made by TM lol
Too bad their new SOPMOD can't use standard mags |

I have the chance to skirmish my WE Scar-L, its bad ass. I've tried the mouse pad trick to dampin the recoil spring assembly on the butt stock, but there's a problem of the charging handle not return to the original position. Think maybe the mouse pad is too thick. I have both the green and Co2 mags, but im going to hold off on the Co2 i till get the renforced butt stock plate. Im picking up a Mad Bull fire pig today and going to see how much louder it make the gun. Ill keep you guys updated.

Don't think you even need a new one. I think the next test we'll try is to put a sorbo cylinder head pad on the back plate and note any changes.
As long as it stays in place, isn't too thick, and takes the brunt of the back end of the recoil rod...don't think that it matters whether it's square, rectangular or circular. |

Just go to the CP office 10 minutes before they close (normally 9pm) and they often will be happy to give it to you then.

Me too...same notice but I should be able to pick up my WE SCAR after 7pm tonight. CP delivery drivers end up dropping off their missed packages after 6pm to your local post office. To hell with waiting till tomorrow afternoon!!!

I have gamed my WE 2 games now.
First event, I used the 500fps nozzle, with duster, which brought the fps down to a safe limit for CQB (roughly 350ish), unfortunatly it didnt shoot as far, and the recoil was less...duh. used .25 basterds and .30s I had no issues whatsoever. The next event, my recent one at the LZ, things changed. used a different nozzle that I can use propane and keep the fps limit within the limit. one of my mags had .36s in it, while the remainder .25s basterds. Had no issues with the .36s. However near the end of the game, the thing would fire, but only air, so i changed mags, same thing, changed mags again, and same thing. removing the mag and looking into the chamber i could see a bb in there, so i thought, ill just shake it out and continue. To make long story uber short, turns out there was roughly 10 full bbs and god knows how many bbs powderized/chopped. It was a total mess in the hopup/chamber area. Odd thing is these bbs are the basterds ones. However im pretty sure the issue is the bb weight, .25s, sooo to play it safe for now on, dont use anything less than .30s Also, invest in real steal takedown pins....and as much RS you can put in.

Good to hear you figured out what was the issue - that was indeed one clogged barrel!

The next day it came to my door. Its not that I don't want to go pick up (its <1 minute walk from where I work) I just don't tolerate this kind of laziness. |
