I went back to Taiwan one year, saw all the TM and WE stuff they had, fell in love instantly.

Mitchell12. He brought me to a couple of games. I managed to get two kills with a shitty CO2 pistol from Canadian Tire in one of my early matches and never looked back.

There was a great group of guys and we used to get about 10-16 of us and play massive halo2 games about 3-4 years ago..., we kinda got tired of that after about a month or two and then had some nerf wars in a church nearby that let us use their building. We got tired of that and one of my friends bought a spring airsoft gun from walmart and brought it to a nerf war about 2 years ago....
We then all went out and bought walmart clearsoft and started airsofting. When googling airsoft in Canada looking for some good videos, I found this website. I found a post on the this forum from group from Shellbrook that liked airsoft and were looking for more people and then in July (or August) connected and started airsofting.

Random internet browsing circa 2001.... Then there was #airsoft on undernet with Lisa, Drake, Aquamarine, Pointman, and probably a couple others I can't remember... All the talk about airsoft to be had there got me to put my first foot in!

actually my father got me into it. i was living in calgary but was moving back to winnipeg for a few different in-law related reasons and he dragged me out to a "noob day" that his team C.A.M. was putting on. Spent like 5 hours running around a field, some bush, and a barn converted into a killhouse with my old man's m4 with an eotech clone. Bought a taurus CO2 pistol for 40$ that day and have been hooked since.
A few ops later with his team, picking up whatever tidbits of advice i could from some of the old timers on the team, Im pretty much screwed into spending the next 20 years or more playing this expensive sport.... ....lol just dont tell the wife that i dont want my kid gettin into hockey so i have more money to spend on airsoft......

Walking around at Pac Mall about a year after it was built and was impressed by the TM pistols and rifles on the window. Google got me into ASC.

I learned about Airsoft long time ago when I was growing up in Hong Kong (called "Wargames" there). I bought a cheap springer for target practice, and didn't really give much thought into it. Last year or so, I was getting annoyed by the fact that my computer can't handle top of the line FPS games anymore. I asked myself if there was a better alternative to FPS games that weren't that realistic anyways, and I remembered how people in Cantonese police dramas would shoot each other with airsoft guns. I started searching laws regarding the legality of airsoft in Canada and eventually came to this forum. I read all the FAQs and stickies, finally I got AV'd at the TAC11 show by Scarecrow who was really awesome. Didn't stick around for long tho, least I sold a cap that covered my Bus fare and Entrance fee.

Well when i was 12 ish i saw this micro uzi at walmart and i begged my dad to buy it for me. After 3 months of of PLEASE DADDY, we went together to pick it up. After that it went to a Spring pistol then a shotgun then the crappy AEG the A17 for $99. once i saw the AEG i found out about games being held at defcon paintball (before this 18+ rule had come into play) So i was 15 at the time and i decided to go play. once i got there i was so intimidated i wanted to cry in a corner, Everyone had Full metal/high powered MP5's, SMG's, and assualt rifles, one peron had even brought out their M240 machinegun which scared the shit outta me. once i started playing with dual spring pistols i got the hang of it and gained respect because i headshoted 2 people at point blank running like a chicken with his head cut off LMAO . so the people there were very nice and let me into their circle and this is what made me love airsoft. Not the the fact that you can shoot someone and not get imprisoned but the love, respect, and teamwork you share with people that you have never met before. This blind trust is what airsoft is all about you gotta give respect in order to get it. But after the 18+ rule was in play i got really pissed so i couldnt play for about 2 and a half years, so that gave me time to get my arsenal up to par. So now im ready to kick ass like a one man Army.
