I just have received an email from loctite stating "We are required to list any petroleum distillates that may be in our products on the MSDS. The fact that they aren't listed is an indication that they don't exist. Viperlube Clear Synthetic Grease was developed to be a direct replacement for Superlube with the same polyalphaolefin base oils and fumed silica thickeners. Any application used with superlube can be used with viperlube clear". If anyone is curious you can pick up a 14.1oz tube of this from acklands for $14.

I have a question about Super Lube. I have a can of Super Lube and was wondering if it is just as good as the tube or is it totally different?

I just bought the can of Viperlube. Visually, its different from superlube. Tan in colour. The Viperlube clear, to me it is the same as Superlube clear.
