M11 fps issues.

Hi guys,

Just took out my new FMU m11 to a game today and noticed that is was shooting 350 with 0.25's, so about 375 with 0.2's (didnt try them, but it would be close to that). 375 with 0.2's??? It doesnt have a high flow or anything, and the hopup is set correctly for 0.25's. It was 27 degrees out, but i cant see the fps going THAT high. I thought they shot like 300 normally...

Basically, what im asking is if it will severly harm my gun.

Something else flukey.... well from testing both my stock G36 and this gun, the m11 performs ALOT better. Doesnt have the accuracy, but it easily outranges it by a LARGE amount. (IM NOT KIDDING) Others saw the range at the game... Even compared to my upgraded AK at 370fps this thing performs pretty damn good as range goes.

Has it been blessed by god? Ive had other Gbb's but they cant ever compare to this thing ive got, like 1/3 of the range.

I dont really know what i should do. Possibly get a new flow valve? see if it lowers the fps??

Any help or feedback appreciated.

Thanks guys.

My m11's which are stock ksc (no upgrades) shoot 320 on a hot day ~30c with .23's if you use a silencer you may see some increase.

I was at the local CQB place today and there was a guy in there with a full metal M11. Using propane he couldn't get under 375. Sounds pretty normal to me as far as FPS goes.

I've had the pleasure of using an M11 on Propane outdoors...it's a scary thing. Accuracy is nothing special, but it can throw a LOT of plastic into a 10-square foot area at a full sprint. The range was pretty decent as I recall.

I get about 330fps with .2g BBs and propane, but have a custom made supressor with a semi-perforated inner barrel (not a tightbore or anything, just a piece of 1/4" ID brass tubing machined to fit into the M11 muzzle, and man does it supress well!) and I get between 360fps and 400fps out of it using .2g as well. Like Skruface said, accuracy sucks, I get about 70ft range out of it, but it's a totally fun thing to play with! Too bad extra mags are both very heavy and expensive. Hehe
