Mechbox no power

First time opening and putting back together a mechbox. I had studied the mechbox.com videos before attempting so I wasn't wondering in the dark.

I've had just changed in a brand new kings arm low res. wiring in. Reason I did this is because the previous owner that decided to put longer wires in but instead of heatshrinking it and solder it they electrical tape it together with tin foil.

Put everything back together and seems there's no power going through when I pull the trigger. Fuse isn't blown, battery is fully charged. Kinda bugged out figuring it out.

Any ideas??

Check the switch assembly to make sure there is contact. Go over all of the wiring and confirm there is contact and also check the connectors.

Okay after checking that the selector plate and the switch assm. weren't making contact. Now the electrical issue is aside and working. When I put the mechbox back into the lower rec. and the motor in and pulled the trigger.

The gearbox seizes when the spring is pulled back.

It could be that your motor height is set too high. try turning it down a bit. Also before you closed everything up, did you double check that the gears where spinning freely and that there is no binding? Some tips on building your own MB. Also I find the best way to check your motor height is to remove the piston from the MB, close it all up and mount the pistol grip and motor. When you pull the trigger, you can listen to the sound it makes while adjusting the motor height. Once it sounds smooth and quiet, that's the sweet spot. Good luck.
