TM 1911 Hop Unit Housing

I first would like to apologize, because this post is best suited for the sales thread, but I live in the U.S. and becoming age verified is rather difficult. I enjoy being part of your forum, because there is a lot of knowledge on these boards and so many are eager to help. So here it goes…

I have a TM 1911 and it just recently broke. The part that broke was the hop unit housing, specifically parts GM1-24 and GM1-25. I have included a picture of the part and the parts diagram below. I have searched all over for this part and so far have found nothing. The gun is useless without it and I am not ready to give up on it. I have contacted Aquamarine on these boards and he is able to get these parts, but since I only need those parts…the shipping and other fees are extremely high. So I was either hoping to:

A) Find someone who has a broken/cheap TM 1911 that is willing to part it out…or
B) If anyone is placing a larger order through Aquamarine…can I include my items within their order?

Like I said, I apologize for this post being in the wrong place….mods feel free to move/delete it as you see fit.

Yea....I saw that. I really only need the other half...the half with the "post" for the recoil spring. In the pic I posted, you can see a minor crack at the bottom of the circle...well it finally broke in half at that point. So I am not able to keep the slide attached to the frame. Thanks though!

To confirm for the OP, this does fit the 1911 as well?

it will fit, but there is no post for the recoil spring guide to sit on, so it will fly through your wall every time you dissassemble the gun

That is what I am saying, that part linked is part 1 of 2...

I was looking for both parts to avoid problems mating them together. I only really need the side with the "post" for the recoil spring.

Alternatively you can just run a full length guide rod and you don't need that post(infact I cut mine off on one of the 1911 to run a Hi-capa guide rod.)

The whole bottom portion that I highlighted in white broke off. So I am not able to lock the slide to the frame....rendering the gun useless. I hope I don't have a $300 paper weight.

The one posted up there from TMC is specifically a Hi-Capa housing, without that small guide for the 1911 style spring guide. Which is why I say you can use the Hi-Capa one if you can get your hands on one and use a full length bushing.
