Battery getting very warm and motor too, is because all the electrical energy that is supposed to go into the rotation of the motors, is going back into the battery, since the motor is "locked" (when it is set too high) so that could burn your motor, and the battery!....
There is actually a few full turns between the motor not moving and just clicking, and it getting too far backed out to squeal. In between there are the sweet spots where whine is at a minimum. Sounds like the gears are stripped, time to open the mchbox and take a look.

but he mentionned that the gearbox clicks when the adjustement screw is fully screwed in....
Personally I would try to adjust the motor before opening the gearbox....

I seconded that it's a lot easier to turn a screw then to take a gun apart, might as well try solving the problem with the easier solution first.

if it's still making noise. remove the motor end plate and check to see that the motor plate is still there. sounds like it might have slipped out since you cannot make the adjustment.

As it's supposed to, which was what I suggested a bunch of posts ago. That makes sure that he's turning the right screw, and if he backs it off a turn or two and it screeches still, it's not a motor height issue any more, it's a gear box issue, likely a stripped gear. What I suggested was the tech's test to sort out if it was motor height issue or gearbox issue. He did it as was mentioned, verified that it's not a motor height problem. Literally there are only two issues that will make that noise. Other noises or lack of actions will point to different problems. This is purely a gear issue.

It could, if you managed to abuse the cheeching sound before asking for help, but it can be one of the three gears that sits into the gearbox as well. I'd suggest getting it to a gundoc, unless you wanna try to take the gearbox in parts yourself.

It could be useful for you to tell your location, as a gundoc of your area could contact you.

Could be the pinion gear too, they aren't as prone as shedding teeth suddenly as the other gears. That gear shreds because they motor height is wrong and it takes a while to screw it up. If it is, you'd have an easier time buying a new motor then trying to track down just the pinion gear itself......... and you or your tech would have to have the pinion gear removal tool (I have one) in order to get the damaged one off.

The problem was that it was not shimmed properly when I got it. So the gear were grinding causing it to wear. We had it fixed for about 100rd's and then it went again. So now I am getting new gear's for it. Thanks for all your help guys =)

haha mine was perfectly shimmed when i got it.... (but its a pre-production model from 2008...) ....
what i'm trying to say is that with SRC you always have the risk of getting a lemon.... (poor QC i guess...)

If you "fixed it" by properly shimming, it....it wouldn't happen again. So you obviously didn't shim it correctly.

I have modify gears in all my G36's they are fantastic and no shimming. They work like super cheese in fact I have one set going on 3 years in a G36.
