Headwrap

I have a quick question about the headwrap that "Slo" (guy who carries around the M249 in tears of the sun). Is his head wrap a normal headwrap or a different one because I have tried tieing mine various ways and can't seem to get it to look quite like his. Any ideas?

Could just be an OD T-shirt tied on his head, or a ripped up T-Shirt, or a simple OD bandana. I have an idea who you are talking about, but most guys that have that sort of thing on their heads made it from something like a T-shirt.
