TM G36 barrel thread problem

Any help ASAP would be greatly appreciated. I have a TM g36 with parts for both a C and a K and currently the K barrel extension is on, but due to battery reasons I can't run the 36k tomorrow, so I was trying to convert it back to the 36c, but now I can't get the barrel extension off. I've read that it's a CCW thread, so I tried turning it the proper way, nothing. I tried spraying some silicon oil down the barrel, nothing. Tried running it under really hot water for a bit then turning it, nothing.

If anybody out there has some ideas, please tell me! I really want it off D:

I tried a quick google, didn't come up with anything useful, I haven't search yet, I am going to after this.

Maybe bring the parts you have and a some tools to the game, perhaps someone at the field can help with some hands on ideas rather than using a keyboard,,,lol.

if all else fails, pad the faces of a pair of pliers and try to wrench it off

If you have a steel barrel extension:

Put it in the freezer. For at least 2 hours.

Then quickly unscrew it.

Happened to me when I brought my rifle to the field. It was -20c outside. I assembled the rifle at the field when I arrived.

After heating up, nothing would move.
