An 8.4v mini will pull a 110 spring. Contrary to popular opinion. It won't do it as well as a 9.6, but it will do it.

When a mechbox locks when upgraded, shimming would be first on my list

kalnaren is correct! I've run many upgraded aegs on 8.4Vs. Of course they were all properly shimmed and lubed.

This would be my opinion as well.

my bads i thought u guys were talking about a stick battery. a 8.4V can barely pull the 110 spring.

What does the shape of the battery matter? A 7-cell battery is a 7-cell battery.

The longer the "battery" the more power it has...
