AGM M4 GBB not firing

Hey guys, my AGM M4 GBB is not firing at all due to the firing pin not hitting the correct place on the mag to release the gas to propel the round. Mags are not leaky, and everything else looks good. It looks like the firing pin's not going forward enough.
Any tips on fixing this?

What did you do to it colt?

Need more info, is it brand new?
Did you do anything (mod/taken apart/etc)?
Did you try another mag?
Whats the angle of the firing hammer when uncock? cocked?

Hehe, nothing bro! Worked like a dream for a couple of days, bought it 2nd hand. No modifications at all. I only have one mag unfortunately.
Hammer looks properly positioned, from what I can tell.
Could it be the valve?

It can be the valve thats 'stuck' in the foward position (thats my guess).

It can also be a problem with the angle of the firing hammer (never heard of that happening w/o the user fiddling with it, etc).

Try pulling on the silver valve button.

Oh and hmnn have you checked to make sure theirs gas in the mag?

Edit: off to bed, tired and am class. I'll check tom to see if you fixed it, if not, theirs a couple things we can do.

Check the pin that holds the hammer into the body. Mine broke in half(!), which allowed the hammer to still be cocked, and drop when the trigger was pulled, but it would fall at an angle and not strike the valve knocker. I replaced the busted pin with a set of G&P Anti-Rotation Links and it's been fine since.

I just ordered one of those, just in case. Is there a way to check the pins without pushing them out? I don't want to mess anything up, if the problem is elsewhere.
Thanks!

Check your hammer spring..AGM OEM hammer spring is the strongest out of the WA M4 GBB series springs.Oh and I THINK that no other spring will work for the AGM one.Correct me if im wrong.

Thanks, I checked the hammer spring, seems to be working fine. As hondatech said, the hammer can still be cocked, and drop when the trigger is pulled, but no round is fired.

There is gas in the mag, and I pulled the valve thing out as much as possible as well. Still nothing ...
The broken hammer pin MIGHT be the issue, but I wonder if there's a way to confirm without pushing the pins out.

Would be so much easier if you lived nearby... we could swap parts and trouble shoot it.

Hmnn you only have 1 mag? Would be great to try another mag... or try THAT mag in another AGM.
