KSC System7 USP weirdness

Hi,
Did not find anything related to my problem, so I'll ask.

I have a KSC USP Tactical (System 7), with the G&P supressor.

On the last BB, if the sup. is on, the slide will not lock back. Remove it, and now it works.

?!?!?! Any ideas ?

Thanks !

The extra weight of the suppressor is causing the barrel to lever the slide up and over the catch.

If you cycle it by hand will it catch?

Also try cycling it upside down with the suppressor attached.

Without suppressor, works fine. I'll try your ideas and let you know

Thanks.

If it is the case, it's pretty stupid of them not to think ahead by building a gun made to take a suppressor but not factoring the weight of it in the functionnality...

The REAL pistol works fine with a supressor and they spent a lot of time making sure of that....the TOY copy of the gun that costs a couple of bucks might not.

I have a Tanio Koba USP Tactical that works fine with a suppressor.

It think this is a pretty common problem with stock GBBs, it may be time for a barrel and slide kit.

The price of a product should not be a factor in the functionnality of said product.

If you make it to take accessories, you should at least test it with the accessories before it hits the market.

But some research first to make sure the upgrades would work

What is strange is I did not find anything on the interzweb relating to that.

It's more a vague fog of comments that suppressors can be a problem vs. the specific problem for a certain brand and model threads.

It really depends on how much the can you chose hits the scales at and the tolerances in your individual pistol. Another guy could have no problem at all with his matching setup.

Most real pistol suppressor are also designed with a Nelson Device that uses the gas of the propellant to power a decoupling mechanism that temporarily decouple the suppressor from the barrel such that the slide can operate as if the suppressor was not there....
