NVG Baseplates
Are these replaceable or easy to obtain? Or is it easier to try and make one?

When you say "the plate that the j-arm screws into", are you referring to the PVS14 housing?
I'd imagine it would be quite difficult to make one. But it is replaceable.

I'm just gonna mill something myself. I contacted the company and they don't carry a replacement. I'll just do it myself.

Cut a piece of metal to size shape it and drill and tap and install?
Not very difficult. I'm not afraid to open the unit up. I already have a few times to take specific measurements and It still works. I work with electronics and such for a living so it's not intimidating for me.
