WE 1911 Slide Lock/Safety spring and pins
Hey guys,
I've got a WE 1911 that is missing the spring and pin that hold tension against the slide lock and safety catch. Pics below: ![]() ![]() Anyone know where I can find a replacement or have one on hand? I have the pin that holds in the slide lock but am missing the spring and the pin for the safety. Help me obi-wan kenobi, you're my only hope.

The TM part is confirmed to work on the WE 1911 btw (used the same kit to fix a team member's 1911)

well technically marui pins and we pins are alittle different and might not always fit, i had a meu based gun and the marui pins i bought aint working,
one of the ghetto ways is to have 2 tips of a pen and a long, small, and stiff spring, hope you can fix your problem. |

Haha I was just going to post the same solution!
I have a small tip to add to that. If you take your gun apart frequently to tinker with it or what have you, you will know its a pain to put those pins in over and over again. They fly out and are pretty annoying. What I did was I put a drop of superglue on a piece of card and dipped the tip of the spring in. Afer I quickly put the end of the pin on the spring. Voila the spring and pin all stay together which reduces fiddling and looking for pieces. Hope it helps, Jordan |
