Is that the Kings Arms or the Cyma? I thought the Kings Arms was all engraved. The Cyma's info is just painted on. Is it all wood and steel?

The King Arms and Cyma bodies are exactly the same, painted info etc. Wood is fake but so well made that people don't realize until they touch it. Receiver is Metal upper and plastic lower. The difference between the two, is the gearbox, cyma or king arms Battery seems to be different between the two. I also hear rumors of a King Arms with engraving, all metal and wood but I have yet to see one for sale from a retailer.

That's beautiful, Adamlxlx... Here's mine... All I've done so far is taken a Dremel to some of the "trades" on it, tried to wipe out "Made in China" and "Cal. 6mm"...

It all really depends on what year it was made. Some late 1944 and 1945 thompsons came with no finish at all, bare metal.
