Chornied my JG AK Krinkov with a F1 chrony I bought at Le Barons and it shoots 341-350fps with KSC 0.20's. Fired about 10 shots, most where in the 345-349 range but two hit 350 and one hit 341.

I wish I had a chrono to tell...it tore the heck out of a pop can at 20 feet in semi-auto, and obliterated it in full auto. All JGs have a high FPS listed... in fact the JG M16 on their site claims a 350-380 fps.
INtital quality seems to be quite high...time will tell if the gun lasts a long time...hopefully by that time I will be able to fix it and upgrade parts as they wear out or break. |

Once I get the TM 600rnd hicap I'm going to put this thing through its paces, act as a support gunner with it for a couple rounds and just whore the ammo out. I've already inadvertently done the 5' drop test, not a scratch on it.

Replace the cylinder for a more consistant velocity. Mine had a slightly oversized inside diameter.......

With the price you pay for it, you can stick the same aftermarket parts and ups you would've done to a TM and in the end you'd have saved $$$, internal wise, if you know what you're doing you can re-shim and fix whatever u like. Plus with JAFA you can get any Marui spare parts dirt cheap.

FYI for those like me who wanted to see an SRC rifle in action.
Video "review" of the SRC M4A1 Unfortunately no words or commentary, but a nice overview of the rifle.

Does it say if this one is the VERSION 2? I haven't actually seen a Version 1 but that one there looks identical to what I got minus the crane stock. I haven't cracked mine open but it sounds awesome, good power with fast ROF.

No, doesn't say. The video was uploaded Aug/06, if that helps. Don't know when they started putting the V2's in.

Things I've found about my Jing Gong AK:
-The hicap retention tab that holds the BB's in is really weak and when the hicap is fully wound the tab isn't always strong enough and sometimes a stream of BB's sprays out at random -The 8.4V 1050mAh NiMh battery that came with it used about 444mAh to shoot ~1000 shots fired in ~200 BB "bursts" (battery charged at 3A using a Duratrax ICE charger.) So the gun is quite efficient on battery life. -The 250rnd hicap only really holds ~230rnds and doesn't fire the last 30-35 shots that are split between the feeding tube and 10-20 left in the reservoir -After firing ~1500 shots the gun is still going strong |
