The BMG has been a great addition to our games. It's a wonderful unit to have available.
One night game we outfitted the lone machinegunner on the .50 with a pair of NVGs. The rest of the team had to locate his position and take him out. We spent most of the time crawling up while listening to the .50 firing and BBs whizzing through the grass. I caught one on the top of the head, but most of the others made it up. The .50 ran dry and it came down to the sidearm... The last game we had one team mined an objective area (with some CO2 mines we had) and also planted the .50 in a concealed spot with a good field of fire. The other team knew the place was mined but had no idea they were walking into the .50's maw. Actually, the .50 didn't fire - there was a malfunction of some kind. The gunner spent his time pressing the inert trigger and pulling the charging handle instead of shooting until he got shot. Much funnier that way anyway. |

wahts this about a nerf rocket launcher. tried doing a search only tocome up empty handed.
Yah you would think the HMG would go for more then the price of the gearbox. probably the reason why most HMG is over the 1'000 range.

unfortunately, the EAR site was down and i think they lost the pics and video of the mortars, bazooka, etc. take it from me firsthand there is nothing like hearing a "WHOOMPF" is the distance, then a few seconds later the classic movie whistle of an incomming mortar, then a thud near you. and this could happen 20 times in a couple of minutes like when we were bombared at the "Robin Sage" event in august. blastyman is the "evil genius" of the airsoft world. maybe if donp still has the near suicidal vid of john's attack with his new launcher he could link it.

I am so glad I realized that this occurs in Alberta. Aka, within sane driving distance.
