A shame they just wanted to re-use the molds for the M1A1 rather than engineering a new one.
290 fps as told to me by the seller. Upgrade soon

You sure that's not 390fps? Mine was shooting around that right out of the box.

That's 290fps with a .25 BBBastards Sam, if you are going to play outdoor with that just upgrade it to a modify 100 spring and it will stop the double shots on Semi when you use a 11.1 LiPo

Honestly, my Cyma Thompson shoots 330 fps on .2s, and I never had any problem reaching anyone. And I can use it in indoor fields, or closer in CQB.

The 1928 that Sam got has an upgraded and longer inner barrel, new hop up rubber (so new that he need to work it in) and a M90 spring (I ran out of M100)

I find that having both an inner barrel upgrade and the spring will give you the happy medium of 330 - 360fps and with King Arms that kind of fps will ensure that it will last longer than any aeg, my FAL, Galil have the same mods and the FAL is going 4 year strong without any other mods. The only downside is you can't go with a bigger LiPo as it will cause the AEG to double shoot on semi.

The King Arms "ultra" edition is by far the nicest one they produced, the wood, metal construction is even nicer than their premium line and without the fugly white lettering either, the metal is slightly heavier than their regular metal body version, the internals comes from the factory with their upgraded wiring compare to the standard that comes with the lower line aeg. I would have never sell my beloved Thompson(s) if it were not for my new found love of FCC PTW
