Well, you're right I don't know what was going on at that exact moment in time, just stating an opinion. But, as to the air softer comment, when I was overseas with the army and was required to carry concealed I always made sure I had a holster. As to being here for 11years I'm not sure where that came from as IIRC I only registered here about 3years ago. So, gentlemen lets get I back on track and talk about CSOR again as I find the topic of kit and SF quite interesting.

Just curious, when were you over, and which unit were you with?

The 3rd Bn PPCLI and the 1st for 2 tours. So, during those 24 years that I had spent in the Army, I worked or saw a few different units in action from the Airborne regt, also involved in some of the first CQB type operation the CF conducted on Operations. As for it being in his pocket I have admitted I do not know what was happening at the time. But, SOP for searching someone is to hand it off to someone else who is not directly involved in said search. But, like you pointed out so quickly he may have done that for teaching purposes. I admit that I have skipped TTP while teaching, so it maybe fair to say he might have done the same for expediency.
But, I have to take into account of what I once was, but what I am now. In my you get less broken days, I was dumb and full of piss and vinegar. Now, I'm trying to get into this game. But, it seems I'm being attacked for an opinion which everyone has the right to on the internet. However, like I said before let us get back onto the original topic. The actions shown in this picture are shown in the CTV report on CSOR for some context. The link has been posted a couple pages earlier. Put shortly, they're training African troops. It's most definitely a quick demo and certainly not a combat setup (as others have pointed out and as his lack of any other gear shows).

Hi Guys,
I'm quiet new to Canadian Kit, I'm wondering if its common to come across the helmets used by CSOR (Rabintex)? I've been after one for a while and have had no luck. Thanks |

Wholy CRAP! That's awesome video footage! They've gone full-on MC (even the pc's) & Ops-Core in this video! I would've loved to have been there first-hand to see that!
Thanks for posting that!

CANSOFCOM has been full on MC for quite a while. They even wear it to events/conferences etc instead of CADPAT TW.

Incidentally, I was wondering if anyone can confirm the use of Lancer L5 Warfighter mags by CSOR (or the other guys for that matter)?
