Looking to get a WW2 US helmet quickly

What is my best bet?

I am looking for something for US Glider infantry,
so I suspect the US infantry helmet is my best bet.
I already have a VN dated M1 but I am looking for something a little better but still affordable.

" Toppots " is right out.

Your advice is appreciated. Shipping delays are an issue. Need to have it by 04/27

Thanks

pretty sure the M1 steel pot is the same in both theaters, the base colour of the helmet is just OD
your local surplus store should have some steel pot helmets laying around, if you are lucky, you might be able to get a liner included

Hi Porkchop,
does it need to be authentic or is a reproduction good enough?

ATF shipping can be very expensive.

Hope this helps,

Use your VN liner and throw some netting and scrim on it.
