Anyone has a TM 5-7? Care to enlighten us how it is made inside?

oh thats not a slide guys.
That's actually the second shock reinforcement that goes inside the slide as a buffer. The original TM is plastic, I don't find anything wrong with it. |

this probably adds some weight so make it kick more, and its stronger.. just cause, well can never be too strong
and like Skladfin said, its the inner frame of the slide, not the slide itself, the 5-7 is built similar to the desert eagle in that respect |

Yeah, this the inner insert to the slide. The real 5-7 is completely polymer on the outside with an inner, reinforced metal 'cage' inside the slide. The one on the TM is made of plastic. This would essentially make the slide like on the real steel.

SRC will have their 5-7 out very soon, hoping to have Canadian version within the year

Looking at some TW site(Arms-Cool), looks like some one will be out with after market plastic shells as well....(I am guessing Guarder)
