Any troubles with the Crosman M3T tri-burst shooting .28g?
I was just curious if anyone's ever had any problems with the Crosman tri-burst shotgun that takes shells when it comes to it shooting .25/.28g bbs?
From what I've read on here, the M3T style shotguns worked extremely well with .28g outdoors, but no one specified the brand of the gun. And the other day a friend told me his two Crosman shottys wouldn't shoot anything but .12g or .20g, and would just jam up and not feed if he used anything bigger. I'd like to know your experiences before I buy my first bag of BBs for this thing, thanks. |

aka SNK or Shaniqua

.30s work fine, in fact it seemed like were better in that shotgun than 0.20s. You just saw three BBs fly out and keep floating in the air. Much more accurate.

I use 0.28g and 0.38g BBs in my Crosman, and they are amazing for range, easy 140ft. And I plan to have a couple shells loaded with 0.36g for brush penetration if I need it. 0.12g and 0.20g are way too light, they go skyward after about 70ft. I even found that 0.25g were too light, would float upwards at around 100ft. Heavier gives more range and much better accuracy.

Thanks for the info guys, I'm going to order some .28s and see how they work.
And using .36s in a shell for bush cutters is a good idea, Stalker. Where can you get BBs that heavy anyway? O.o |

Yeah when I had a few .28's kicking around I stuck them in it, and loved it so much.
I wish I had more to use for it, it was such a beast. As for where: http://www.airsoftparts.ca/store2/in...&cPath=117_118

I presently shoot a mix of .12 - .20 and .25 mixed for indoor CQB. Works pretty good, no feeding issues.
And that is with both a Crosman and a UTG .28 is the bomb for outdoors, to punch through those leaves like a proper RS shotgun should. Haven't tried .36 though. Must do. |
