Order a Scope from US?

Yesterday I ordered a scope from Optics Planet ( This one ) and today i reveived an email from OPtics planet and they tell me that they can't ship it from the US to Canada because of some regulation from the US gouvernment:
''Unfortunately, due to the U.S. Government Export Control Laws and Regulations, U.S. Companies are not allowed to ship the product(s) you ordered outside of the physical territory of the United States without proper licensing. We apologize, but at this time we are not able to apply for the required license(s). Therefore, we are forced to cancel your order.''

So now I would like to order the same scope from AirsoftGI and I would like to know if they will tell me the same thing? And have you ever had problems importing scope from US?
Or do you know any other good website where i can find Rifle Scope( no cheap replica) without any problem?

I like the Leapers 3-9X40 http://www.leapers.com/production/pr...SCP-394AOMDLTS and I don't know of this one enter in the ITAR regulations. Where can I find this information?

Typical of Optics Planet. I would caution any Canadian against ordering from them. See below:

What is exactly wrong with UPS? If i order with a Canada Standard shipping? An how long would it take?

UPS rapes you on brokerage fees so your pretty much paying the value of your item in brokerage fees. And when I say rape I mean no lube violent raping

dlairgun is a leapers dealer, as is marstar. Compare prices with shipping to see who is giving you the best deal.

Any other? I can't order from dl airgun beacause i'm not 19 years old or older( Wtf 19 not 18?) and all scope on marstar are out of stock.

I'll attest to that. Bastards charged me $60 in fees to deliver an $80 item...my ass is still loose.

Ya, UPS got me a couple times, once was when I ordered my A-2 flight jacket from the states, was $280US when I got it (excluding exchange rate and shipping), had to pay UPS just under $100 in brokerage fees. And recently I ordered four C11 mags, $15 per pair, from the US, got tagged with a $20 brokerage fee.

I hate UPS!!!
