Well, I've already opened up my gearbox twice. The first time I did it was when I installed 6mm Deep Fire metal bushings and the second time was when I installed a Prometheus MS90SP spring, Prometheus Poly Carbonate piston and a Systema Duracon piston head.
Now, I'm still a newb by far when it comes to upgrading but I'm pretty confident on working on the gearbox on my own. After installing these previous upgrades, my gun had never had any issues firing. But that's why I'm on here, to ask questions and learn as much as I can. If anything, and I do end up achieving over 400-450 FPS then I won't even play with my SIG 552 on the field. Instead I'll just play with my stock TM G36C, which I don't plan on doing any upgrades to until it breaks. But I am looking for the best way to keep my TM SIG 552 gearbox life and stability for as long as possible with the upgrades I want to do, and the necessary battery type to run it.
BTW, what are sorbothane pads? I've never seen or heard of them before.
