If you want an M14, get TM. end of story. it is the best in terms of performance and is equal or surpasses all the other brands in terms of exterior quality and craftsmanship. If you want a G3, i would recommend going with a Classic Army (CA), because they are full metal. That being said, you might have to install some upgrades off the bat with the CA G3, but that would be cheaper than buying a TM and putting a metal body on it and then upgrading it. ANywhere from $300-$600 cheaper.
