I bet it would work.
The increase in ROF would not be sufficient to damage anything.... hell! I ran a crapsoft EBB on a 7.4v Li-Po (it was supposed to use 4x1.5v AAA batteries) It lasted until I added some spacers to the piston and used a 12v battery. Marui being better quality, a 0.2v increment is not going to kill it!
Hint: You might want to check some other websites for Li-Po... or ask me! I got deals on anything battery related.... usually 10% cheaper
