Hello all,

Ok so here is the scoop, I have been working for the past 2 weeks on trying to figure out how to correctly modify my Tanaka m870 shotgun to allow it to use the CL custom slug shot or buckshot shells. I have removed the inner barrel no problem, I have taken the gun apart several times, but the issue I am faced with is the outer barrel, it would see the piece I need to get at is inside it and I have no clue how to remove the outer barrel. It doesn’t seem like one piece but I can find any pins that are holding it in place either.

The reason why I need to get the outer barrel off of the main chamber is for two reasons:
1. inside the barrel is a piece that is either not supposed to be in there for using the custom shells, or need to be modified
2. Removing the outer barrel will allow me to remove the front grip piece and replace it with an upgraded version.

What I would like to know is if there is anyone out there who has figured out my problem, or if there is some one who owns a custom redwolf tanaka m870 and would be ever so kind as to explain how the inside of the barrel looks.
