Absolutely untrue. Creatine's primary purpose is to donate a phospate to ADP (adenosine diphospate) to convert it to ATP (adenosine triphosphate), which is the primary source of energy for cellular activity. Our cells can only store so much ATP. Excess creatine in the body is converted into creatinine which gets processed by the kidneys and excreted as urine.
People get fat for only one reason. When your caloric intake is greater than caloric usage, these excess calories are stored as fat. Stopping working out increases fat in two ways.
1) You are not burning those extra calories through work (lifting, running, etc.)
2) Stopping working out causes muscle to atropy (get smaller). Muscle mass has an effect on a persons resting metabolic rate. More muscle means that higher metabolic rate, therefore more calories used while doing nothing. Since you become a girly man when you stop working out, your muscles get smaller and your body requires less calories to function normally. Therefore caloric usage to intake ratio gets smaller, and therefore, girly man gets fat.
