AEP is a gun for the field. GBBs are for chairsofters
Dont forget if you drop it in the sand all you have to do is spend 1-2 hours cleaning every piece bit by bit. Also, sometimes expensive, hard to find pieces break/fall off but you can always get replacements, its not a big deal  |
Okay, given your pistol isn't attached to a lanyard, and is improperly secured in the holster.. Otherwise, why would your pistol be in the sand?
And even if it did fall, the chances of getting sand in your blow-back chamber are pretty slim (given you have a loaded pistol)...
I don't know much about AEPs, but I don't think they're much (if at all) better than GBBs.
And GBBs aren't for Chairsofters, they're for Mil-sim...ers(?) who don't believe in using 100round pistols, with wussy blowback
