Shouldn't have to tinker with your mechbox to install a tightbore (the barrel assembly and hopup are separate from the mechbox), so its just basically just a simple replacement.
Unless you get a PSG-1 or greater length inner barrel, in which case you would probably need to install a bore-up kit, which would involve opening your mechbox.
