I used stock TM AEGs for a few outdoor games (AK74SU, Type 89) I found them on par with the other players' guns, lower FPS seems not a problem at all.

Price is higher but I bought them when there were good deals, and they are very reliable and perform well right out of the box. I only bought a few more magazines and have a lot of fun for a long time. So I think they worth the money if you can afford it.
