Shotgun BB Weight

Hi fellas. I'm picking up a shotgun soon, and was thinking about something interesting. (I did a search, nothing similar popped up)

Since I only plan on using my shotgun in close quarters out in the bush, I was wondering if it would be a good idea to use higher-weight BB's to punch through the bush?

The shotgun I'm getting is a tri-shot springer that clocks in about 300fps. Now, usually one would use a .2 or .23g BB for that fps, but with my shotgun, I'm not looking to get maximum range. I'm looking to punch through bushes and shrubbery to hit people on the other side.

What would be the most efficient BB weight to do that? I was thinking along the lines of .25g or .28g.
