Personally have all of the RUSH series. The RUSH12 while slightly bulky for a 12 hour pack is able to hold my 3L bladder, light change of clothes, laptop, all of my chargers for my various electronics and some small items. Mind you, all of the small items that I carry are put into 6x6 or 6x10 GP pouches to keep everything organized and easily accessible; not using the pouches may yield you additional space, however the pouches allow me to attach them to the exterior of the bag in the even that I have additional cargo to add to the main compartments. I don't know that I'd say the RUSH series is the best bang for buck, but it suits my purposes and the bags are more than durable enough for my hiking, camping and travelling uses.
