Well the good thing about Multicam is it works in many different environments compared to most camos that are only designed one specific place.

Cadpat is only good where there is lots of green; anywhere else it doesn't work.
Same goes for most camos out there.

Multicam is the exception to this rule, as it really helps to blend in with a lot of different vegetation and surroundings, from desert environment to forested areas. Its very impressive.

I'd also add that to better understand how it works, its necessary to see it on a big piece of fabric. I have a 8x4 here for fotography and you can see all the subtilities in the design. The overlays, the shades of colours, the patterns and pattern breakers, the stripes... its really well though of.
