It is probably best to ask the organizers(s) of the Level 1 event as to what is acceptable in regards to uniforms, gear and weapons.
Opinion on historical accuracy varies from person to person.
"Close Enough" has a place in Level 1 events (e.g. DMS Boots).
WW2 airsoft and "Historical Accuracy" don't mesh well at times. Allies are generally more of mixed bag (resistance, British AB, Canadian AB, 506th, etc all on the same field)...haha, when did that ever happen?
