You are right yes. It does depend on the player totally.
Mabey something should be put in the FAQ about saving money in the future like warning people that if they are in it for realism that TM should probly be their last choice. Just so that they don't take the advice most say "go with TM" and then end up regreting it when they look at their $1200 TM gun upgrade bill then look over and see all the work they just did for $600 out of the box.
Personal choice, some are okay with plastic some need it to be next to real. Like me.
Oh and by the way yes I am quite a crazy player, I am still fully abled to run around all day pulling of poser matrix moves and diving into trenches. (or falling haha) Even if I was slow and steady, I'd still prefer a metal gun just for the big manly feel.
Which is how it relly is with real guns anyway.
