Amos would know more then I do, he recently built one.
From what I have read and studied on my current G3, The but stock needs to have some screw lugs removed, then shave down the stock a bit.
Dont remove the protrusion completely, just enough for the mount that attaches the stock to the body to fit correctly.
the inside of the forgrips need to modified slightly to that they slide on the rifle as if they were on rails (on my TM anyways, not sure about other brands)
The stock has plenty room for a lipo and MOSFET, or you can run a normal 9.6V battery on the following config. I had to have them custom made form
www.cheapbatterypacks.com, came out to under $50 CAD shipped for 2 1700mAh Elite 9.6V batteries, wired in #14 DEANS. <- I highly recommend these guys. Very fast on making the battery, comms and shipping. They did a superb job on my order, and you cannot beat the price!
This battery fits very well inside, its not snug at all.
Hope that helped :S
I am not expecting to many issues.
