yeah i did it and didnt have to go inside the mech b. the wires are through the lower recvr.and putting the halves back together was alright.then it goes along the buffer tube and the only thing shaved down was the long screw washer plate that threads in the back of the mech.mase sure that the holding length was the same.and VIOLA!oh i used a neoprene zippered bag that was for sunglasses as my battery bag, velcro straps to secure it.

I absorbed about 60% of what you just said. Please use punctuation instead of wasting it on abbreviating every second word.

If you don't want a battery bag you can always go for a crane stock or a full stock?

If you're wiring to the rear do it properly through the mechbox, not some shoddy doubling-back job.

Calm down guys lol
If he wants to do it that way, let him do it. If it works it works and that's just how simple it is.
If wires end up getting pinched and shorting out his battery in a glorious fireball, well then you can say "I told you so", but until then just accept the fact he's not going to run the wires through the mechbox lol

As a gunsmith, I'd much rather someone who's uncomfortable taking apart a mechbox NOT take it apart, because that's when I get crazy rebuilds with stripped screws and missing parts

Hehe, no shit, replying for truth!

rogue 46 November 10th, 2009 00:30
